Magic Johnson is one of those names which transcends the world of basketball. Everyone knows that he was one of the world's best players who had to retire because he had contracted the deadly HIV virus. Magic, together with Freddie Mercury where probably the two most famous people to publicly announce that they had such a disease. But in many ways, his announcement was much more shocking. The whole story about the announcement and what it brought about was recently the subject of an ESPN documentary. I would highly suggest that if you have an hour to spare you watch this documentary about not only a legendary basektball player but also an amazing human being.
